It was lovely evening, the weather was perfect, homework was done, I had got my manicure, new dress and new shoes. "What all this fuss about?", you would ask me. "I have a date!" I would reply. "Not just any date, but with a guy I like very much. He is smart, handsome and make me laugh" I would continue my dialogue with you. The guy had invited me to the fancy restaurant.
We came to the restaurant, were seated. The waiter came:
-Hello, guys! My name is Michael and I am your waiter for tonight.
Michael was young and attractive, was smiling a lot in order to be friendly. I guess my date decided that Michael was too friendly to me, and started making fool out himself by doing stupid remarks such as: "Do you get paid extra for flirting with clients?" or another one: "Do you write your telephone number on napkins for the clients you liked?"
Michael was trying to make a joke out all these remarks by saying "Yes, sir," or "Of course, sir," while smiling politely. "Enough is enough" I thought . I stood up and left the restaurant.
I broke up with the guy, even though I wanted to be with him. I realized that he was jealous and insecure person. I didn't want that kind of folk around me. Wise people say: "Sometimes not getting something becomes the biggest gift from the universe". That is exactly what happened with me that night.
Actually I'm not really understand about the posterior of the story.
ReplyDeleteWho asked those questions and who was acting to be friendly?
